Discussion: nature of bat cheating...

the fact that you would rather see someone killed than live to be able to go back to their family, but i guess that is not really important to you.
i have used the 52-275 ball and can hit .700 with it against the kids, whats the matter you afraid.
as the usa/canada game showed,it can be hit out fairly easy if your a hr hitter.

i also saw a couple of those go oppo.guess that pretty much puts to rest hr hitters always pull the ball.

guess the 52-275 ball is not that bad, speak on that, disbelieves.

E4/E6,has he ever answered any questions yet.if the M+ hitters are true hitters the 52-275 ball is all they need.i have played with it and speak from experience of using it as some can not say that,or care to.they would rather endanger someone's life instead,in the name of fun, yeah right lets go hurt someone seriously.i have had plenty of fun using this ball and so have the teams in the tourney's i have played in using the 52-275 ball, unless you really can't hit.the ball is lively enough to go thru the infield good enough for the hitter to get their base hits and will get thru the gaps also.yes i have seen this and done it.you use poor mechanics and you won't be rewarded like our present hot combo will do for you,and don't say it doesn't b/c it does, that's why most of these composite hero's want to use the hot combo.
so bring some sanity ,safety and defense back into the game with the 52-275 ball.

well the 52-275 ball takes care of the cheaters and brings some sanity back to the game.if you can hit,you will still be able to hit this ball.it will stop the cheap hrs that are hit by people who would normally wouldn't,hey defense would be back in the game again.people who want the this hot bat/ball combo seem afraid their 400' hrs will be gone, who cares.most all fences are at 300' anyways, and if you are a hr hitter this ball will go that far and still keep the seniors playing a game they love,so quit crying about the fun being taken away, when you only advocate trying to kill someone with the hot bat/ball combo we now use, that seems to be the fun you want.

kenny ya that was in our game,i also seen a couple of times that balls were hit so hard the INF had a hard time reacting.

by the way,did any of your teammates hit any out,we had 0,but we still had fun did you guys.

the only thing was that our pitchers had to sign the useless wavier,or wear protective gear.for me what happens if all pitchers say pack sand, who do we get to pitch.like what is said once the pitcher is hit,its to late.
kenny there is no PPR any more just wear equipment or sign the wavier.
the use of the 52-275 ball helps with our protection.i seen a ball almost take a SS head off this weekend, luckily he got his head out of the way.

yeah umping at times was suspect, kenny.on that play at home i ask the field ump what instructions they were given for the line (since we had no plate),like did a foot have to be on he ground or just breaking the plane,he said they weren't given any.
we will be in Irving.any of your guys doing the 35+ states there in Georgetown this weekend.

you can bet there are some out there.if they would cheat using the kids bats, they'll do the same with the senior bat.the 52-275 ball will make all bats preform the same, they can do all the cheating they want and it doesn't make a difference.its the reason usssa uses that ball now.

if you can get the mizuno blasts,i would.the tanels are a good choice also.i have both and like both, with the mizuno's being a touch lighter in my opinion.

rocket i have a pvc setup that is 73" tall and the lo side is at my knees(approx 24"),and a width of 24" i pitch thru to simulate a strike zone(not for mat ball, but call strike).yes it its a touch hi,but i move it back and forth from the plate for my height's.i think most batters can tell the 6' level, its the higher level that can be harder to judge i think.don't even get me started on usssa 3-10'.

so we need to cheat to have a good time, yeah right.
its b/c of the cheaters that the
balls are being dumb down,
along with the ego's of fools
that think its cool to
hit a ball so hard to
kill someone.
this is a rec sport,we
are not being paid to put
our life on the line,
why should we have to,
to enjoy a rec
sport,no other sport is
that way for the common man.
maybe i'll go play
paintball and use live ammo
instead of paint balls,that
should give me a thrill.

yep kenny you are right on that, one misplayed ball can lead to a win for the other team.
frankie you need to hit to be able to play with the 52-275 ball, and not be looking at the fence all the time.like i've said i have played 2 tourney's with the kids, and there was no prol with the ball for them or myself for that matter.
the only prol i would say with the 52-275 ball there would be no more 400' shots, but who cares, fences are at 300 most of the time,320 max.

webbie just talked with an outfielder this past weekend about that same thing.he said if ya play 7 games that is 7 miles almost per tourney, yikes and they wonder why we can't be running in and out at our ages in hi heat conditions.

rocket i have seen it a bunch,i play a lot of utrip and hardly ever see a ball get to the top of my head(i'm 5'9"),and no to fast speed call.
personally i think with a mat,you hit it its a strike, and no i don't do a lot of senior pitching, but do pitch for the kids in ASA and USSSA a lot.
jawood spoken like a hitter, the 6-10' is the most hitter friendly window to try and throw a ball threw, might as well as let ya's use a tee.

tourney, had a great time played 7 games, congrats to the dallas spurs for their win by double dipping austin tanel(sorry kenny had to bring it up,LOL).didn't hear any crying b/c balls weren't gong out of the park b/c of the heat and fences any wheres from 300' to 320'(most fields were irregular shape).did talk to some people and the majority that i talked to wouldn't mind the change to a safer ball.we talked and about the 52-275 ball, and i related the last 2 tourneys i had played with the kids using this ball and explained how it was very acceptable to use.i batted .700 with it,so you so called hr hitters should have no prol hitting it.i feel if you are a real hitter the ball does not make a difference, unless your scared to show that you are not a real hitter and only look to swing as hard as you can only.also you so called hr hitters who have to go middle b/c you don't have hrs left to hit wouldn't have to worry about killing someone.personally i think that if you only go middle b/c of no hrs left is pretty stupid, and petty.i can hit hrs but do not just hit middle when they are used up,i use the whole field and i'm not a m/m+ hitter like all you big time hr hitters, hit the dang ball where it is pitched and quit crying.

i have switched to the combats and like them better than the mikens.my only problem was one of the red ones broke in about 300 swings.all my other combats have lasted a good long time, upwards of a 1000 swings or better.

Discussion: Five run equalizer

if i remember right equalizer's have been given since the late 80's(not just in senior ball).we also had hr limits for the lower div's D-AA,was no E at the early stages(anything but open div).
on the 50 hr per game by steele's,well that is wrong,i was at the game they set their personal record of 45 for a game.
so i want to know why everyone thinks all div in senior ball deserve to hit hrs.

Discussion: what will you

DC-and that is the prol now a days,no quantity of plays.it is bad when 120 lbs'er are hitting balls over 350' with these hero bats(as i call them).it used to be a inf could get a lot of balls hit on the ground, now he is lucky to get any, unless hit at him and then it he will be lucky if it doesn't take a bad hop and knock him out. as omar says there is a lot of guys just not playing any more as it is no longer FUN just to stand around and watch the rockets hit out and by them before they can react.it is no longer the game we grew up playing.
