I see from the participation list in the 65 AAA that Levin Financial out of Fl and Midwest trucking from Ne are listed in the 65AAA bracket but on the team ratings they are rated as major, seems like I remember Levin Financial playing in the AAA pool play in the SPA in Dalton till it was found that they were rated as Major, what's up with this

Discussion: Miniscus surgery

Mario, I had meniscus surgery on both sides of my right knee in August and walked the same day. One of the most important things you can do is keep it iced and elevate it as much as possible. One of the mistakes I made was doing my own physical therapy programs thinking that I could be back on the field in a couple of weeks, I did leg presses and leg extentions which I felt hurt more than it should, and the more I did these the more it hurt, so this set my rehab back a few weeks. I got so frustrated about not improving I did the logical thing, I asked the doctor if I was doing the right things and he said to ride a bicycle rather than do the presses and extentions, and guess what, riding the bike is the only thing I do that doesn't hurt, and my leg strengh has improved drastically. I wear a good knee brace for support and feel like I'm on the road to recovery, just listen to your knee like Webbie said and don't over do it, good luck.

Discussion: The Passing of Steve Simmons

What a tragedy, Steve Simmons was one of the finest men I have ever met in every aspect, may he rest in peace and may the good Lord comfort his family and good friends and help them through the tough times ahead. Custom Graphics 65 Doug Hixon.

Discussion: Social Security benefits

You need to start drawing ss at age 62 because it will take you approx. 14 years to recoup the money you lost from age 62 to age 66 or whenever your full ss kicks in, also one more thing to consider, your ss is a taxable income and whatever they tell you that you will draw every month, that is the amount you get and there are no deductions unless you request it by a form you have to fill out.

Why doesn't eveybody stop communicating with this Gary person, all you are doing is feeding his already inflated ego. Apparantly he is of the belief that he far superior to everyone else on the site and every question asked or statement posted is done so personally to him, sounds sort of like someone's ex wife, always gonna have the last word.

Discussion: What sport consisted of your athletic career?

I started playing little league baseball when I was 6, got the last uniform which was a size 14, but I wore it and was proud to, played little league 7 years, the cut off for age was 13 before Aug 1 and my birthday was Aug2,my last year in little league we were 20-0 and beat the all-stars lol. Played 2 yrs Pony League, got to high school and lettered 3 yrs in baseball, were the runners up (first losers) in S.C. state championships all 3 yrs, bummer, played football and my senior year won the S.C. state championship 1961, this year is our 50th reunion and we all are gonna be inducted into the North Augusta S.C. Sports Hall of Fame in Feb. Ran track 3 yrs in high school. Went to USC Aiken and played 2 yrs of baseball, got a glance from Pittsgurgh Pirates. Got into law enforcement and retired after 39 yrs. Played some church and co ed slow pitch softball, then when I turned 50 I heard about a senior softball team in Augusta, Ga. in 1994, and have played ever since, and in my playing all over the country, I have made some lasting friends that without senior softball I would have never met, some of the best friends I have and of course have been able to keep the competetive edge at the ripe old age of 67. It gives you a purpose to stay in shape so you won't embarsss yourself, lol.
