Why is it that most times lately when we go to tournaments a MAJOR team of an older age is allowed down to play against a lesser rated "younger" team? It seems to me if there are not enough teams in a certain age/classification then they should NOT be allowed to play "down" as this unfair to the teams in the lesser age/classification. There have been several tournaments where my AAA team has been eliminated by a major "older" team. They did not get a major rating for no reason. If they are put in to play pool games that is one thing but to be allowed to mess up a tournament for the other teams is just plain wrong. At worst the lesser rated team that ends up playing the higher rated team for the championship should be allowed to win their age/classification and the higher rated team win for their age/classification. Example: Not right that a 60 Major team be allowed to win the 55 AAA division especially in a National Tournament. Say it is "spilled milk" if you want but only if you have not had this happen to you.

I enjoyed the NSA tournament last weekend but I have to say I would hate to give up my "senior" bats. I simply have more confidence in them.

Thanks Tater50.
Hope the people who put on the tournaments will read this post and think about how hard it is for Seniors to play in the "brutal" heat.

After playing in 4 games on Saturday this past weekend I do not understand why during the middle of the Summer some of the games cannot be played under the lights(at night) to give a break from the sun and oppressive heat of the early afternoon games. If it is a question of money because of the electricity I feel sure most teams would be willing to ante up a bit more money.
