Discussion: combat team deal

Bob, NCI just signed up for the team package (16-players). I handled the transaction, and found Kevin and his sales team to be very professional and flexiible. They allowed us to upgrade to bat bags w/wheels at a fair price and as you already stated it's a great package deal.

Discussion: Fran Dowell Appointment

In speaking for the West Coast All-Stars it is our opinion this is a well deserved promotion. Fran has and continues to be a pleasure to work with. She is always willing to listen to your questions and or issues, and she will definitly get back to you if she can't provide an answer.

Congratulations Fran, see you in Reno.

Discussion: Robbing Players from Teams

Bob, in my opinion this is what ruined USSSA and ASA in the younger divisions in the 90's. Teams with money buying all the top players and creating elite teams. This in turn caused the remaining teams to fold or drop down (sand bag in some cases) to compete. In the early 90's USSSA and or ASA would have close to a '100' A, B, and C teams at big tournaments. Now they are lucky if they can hold a tournament period in those divisions. I hope this doesn't happen to senior ball, but only time will tell. Phillip, West Coast All-Stars and yes combining with StoneAge.
