Wasn't my bubble you guys almost busted. Maybe you should talk to your team, since it was them that told me they couldn't make the earlier game. Now, you guys are 40 y/o team, using Ultra 2's. Why should we play a 40 y/o team period? Pool game is fine, but not in the elimination round. Yes, we were up on that field with the soft infield, but when we changed to the rock hard infield, your balls were taking off as I am sure my third baseman can attest to. If that is sour grapes, so be it, but we didn't pay to play a 40 y/o team. Its bad enough, we have to play against Major/ Major Plus teams at times.
Larry, I had problems getting on the board and headquarters had to change my name to get me back on. Its still me. Be happy you missed this one.
#6, I have sent out info on that one but will again. Should be a good one for practice for Phoenix.
PS JBT. We didn't care about home runs. Thats for the big dogs. It was those rockets your team hit with ultra 2's that bother us. Home runs don't hurt anyone, but that line drive that I caught at my face would have. I guess thats sour grapes also.

#6, I tried to respond but had to get the home office to reset me. As for Boerne, well, what can you say about a bad tournament. 50AAA playing a 40's team(twice) and them using Ultra 2's. Lucky to beat them in the pool game, but they showed up with some different faces later. Losers bracket due to playing a 40's team. They could/should have been with the been placed with those Major/Major Plus teams. Not enough fields, especially with one not having lights, too many teams for that small a complex and , enough about that. Boerne is not on our list for any other year. As for those teams playing so many games in one day, that, to copy a famous General, "NUTS. Hope to see most of you at other local tournaments especially mine on Oct. 9th at Kipper Mease, Pasadena. Good luck to all for those going to Phoenix.
