Tournament of Champions
I wanted to say THANK YOU to all of the SSUSA staff that put on another successful tournament. For the most part all of our games were on time and while we didn't agree with every call (what team does that?) the umpiring was pretty good. And my hat is off to whoever ordered up the weather!

This years banquet was the first that I've attended in several years and I have to say it was much better then the year we froze in the hanger.

Dave Dowell - It was nice to talk with you. It was even better to be able to ask a question and get a straight, honest answer. Thank you.

Thanks to Terry and Fran for all your great work. It was great to see everyone. It was an honor to be able to participate in the All Star Game against the Wounded Veterans...

I would like to add my thanks also. This was my first one and really enjoyed it.

The only problem I had is with the fields at the Southwest Sports Complex. The batters boxes were 4' wide and not the regulation 7'x 3'. It puts the pitcher at a disadvantage with the batters standing 3' away from the plate. It takes away from a pitcher who pitch's inside.
