| July 22, 2013 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | surgery scheduled First of all I would like to congratulate all of the teams that won their division championships at the SPA Nationals in Dalton. It was great seeing old friends again. Several said that they would like to be kept in the loop concerning my ACL surgery. I just scheduled my surgery for August 9. I'm told that it will be outpatient surgery and that I will be on crutches for only two days. The worst part is that I shouldn't expect to play softball for 6 months. I'm hoping to be able to attend Curt Hollis's Spring Training in February. |

I'm still tired from that Line Drive game-45-38 and each team had a zero inning. 3 hours-whew! And I still thought we would get them in the 7th. They were tough. |
