Sept. 19 Jed Men's 60 3 posts | Hawaii 15" rubber softball Anyone with an opinion on what bat is best in Hawaii senior league which uses 15" rubber (or seems like it) softball? Do you swing a heavier bat or keep with bat speed? Since the ball is not hard (even when new), how does this affect which bat to choose? |
Sept. 19 mad dog Men's 65 4191 posts | r most say to use a heavier bat.....i use 16" balls for practice(to make sure i'm powering thru)....i can hit them about 250' max,but they are great for training.....i use my regular bats,i swing 27/28 oz bats.......also use a 24 oz bat when hitting off a tee with these balls....light bat, heavy ball makes you have to follow thru with force to get any power thru the ball..... |

Sept. 20 Jed Men's 60 3 posts | r I don't think a Lei-O-Mano would survive the bat check! |
