Perscott, Ax event going on now
Hope the "Haboobs" dust storm going on isn't affecting it... dust in the air is bad enough without a cloud of dust a few hundred fee high invading the area, as it is in PHX now.

No Haboob in Prescott. Lots of rain yesterday. Beautiful today.

Those that come seem to be quite scary for the damage that could ensue.
Take care.

No haboobs.tonight in prescott. Beautiful weather. Very unusual single elimination format. Five teams in the bracket. Round Robin Saturday with 4 games. 5 plays 4, winner plays 3, winner plays 2, and winner plays 1. Sure puts a premium on the round Robin games. I like it.

Glad to read that from you both. Would really suck having to play or wait out dusty conditions those dust storms cause.
Playing in rain, wind or with the sun in your eyes is bad enough, but to have dirt blowing in your eyes and other orifices would be something else.
Glad its good weather.

Hey Webbie it was wonderful seeing you at Prescott. Glad you have recovered well. I missed you but not having to face you as a pitcher. HA Great time in Prescott, I thought it was run well and weather was a lot better than in PHX. I loved playing with 1-1 count, Games went so must faster. Really speeds the game up when guys do not watch the 1st pitch going by. Hope they change to this rule soon. Thanks Rick S. for the tournament and playing with Rocco's in 60's it was a fun weekend. Winning didn't hurt. . Maybe see you in PHX in Sept before Worlds.GI

I live in Prescott and I agree, it was well run and the weather was ok..I was never a fan of the 1-1 count until this weekend..Games were a lot faster and you had to be aggressive..I played 3 days and only took ONE pitch..Most of my teammates agreed...See you guys in Vegas..

GI-great to see you also. Congrats on winning. Olden Slow-I agree it went well, especially with the amount of rain we had. I reiterate that I liked the PBA style stepladder format for the single elimination. It made more than just those one or 2 games very important and we still got the 5 game minimum in.
