Sept. 29, 2014 southerinman Men's 50 52 posts | New 52/275 balls As a senior player still playing in local leagues I though I'd try and take advantage of the experience on here and the vast amount of games your all playing. I wondered if anyone has found a bat that hits the new 52 core balls well. I have hit these balls out with both my old psycho flex and an NSA miken 700 but neither of these bats are good for next year so I'm looking for input on something new. |
Sept. 29, 2014 Fred S Men's 85 297 posts | Any of the new ASA/Utrip bats (Triad3, Freak52 etc.) which are made for the 52's Also a Raw/White Steel, PST (if you can find one). I use the Freak52 and my PST and both really do a good job with the 52's. |
Sept. 29, 2014 HJ Men's 70 481 posts | I was told by an individual who is instrumental in the development of SB products that since these balls are softer they don't compress the senior bats the way a 44/375 would and therefore there is no advantage to a composite bat's slingshot effect with these softer balls. |
Sept. 29, 2014 titanhd Men's 60 639 posts | Try the Worth Jeff Hall legit (Red/black) it too is tuned for 53/275 ball. You won't be disappointed. The Miken Freak 52 is good as well but, I like the JH Legit due to it's half ounce end-load. |
Sept. 30, 2014 B94 Men's 50 138 posts | The USSSA Miken DC41 and the Worth Resmondo Legit bot hit the 52/275 ball extremely well... |
