50'S AAA TEAMS
I'm wondering where are all the AAA 50 teams in S.CALIF. when tournaments come up?
Maybe someone can enlighten me on which tourney's all of you (50 AAA) go too!
It seems like everytime we decide to go to a tourney there are no AAA teams participating, well maybe one or two but thats including us!
Don't really want to play major teams when your a solid AA team and a decent AAA team. It's no fun!!!
Anyways just wondering where are the AAA teams playing in S.CALIF.?
This is a for instance Santa Barbara Qualifier this coming weekend only has two AAA teams playing!
That is sad!!
Those two teams will play Road Dogs and a major 55+ team. Great Qualifier!
Supposedly someone there forgot there was a few more 50 AAA teams that wanted to play but they closed the tourney with what was in front of them instead of contacting those that said that they wanted to play.
By the way this last part has nothing to do with the first part of this message just thought I would throw that in as far as tourneys go!
Well I guess we will have to go North to play if we can't find tourneys with AAA teams participating here in S. Calif.!
Hope those tourneys coming up get some 50 AAA teams to play.

Convenors could hand out better prize packages if they want to attract teams.

Rick, I think you answered your own question. AAA teams are tired of playing Major teams, when their own team is only a decent AAA team and a good AA team. Tired of not having much of a chance to win. As you said, not fun. Where have they gone. The teams have split up into AA teams, so they do not have to play major teams, or just decided to not play any longer. At least in AA you usually play AA teams. As a side note, I went to a tourney that had 10 teams, 5 AAA and 5 Major, but the director elected to mix the teams up in 2 brackets regardless of their status. Needless to say, not as many teams go to his tourney any longer. It was brought to his attention, but he did not care. Hope that helped.
