For those of you Senior Softballers who have not had the privilege of viewing a photo of our beloved 'einstein', just go to my web site and scroll down a bit on the home page.

He's the one NOT wearing a ball cap, if you need help identifying him!

Clatta is the best hitter I've ever seen up close
in Senior Softball and as unpretentious as they come.
A great teammate!
We will miss him this year.
Hey Bash, nice shot of you and the boys there, too.
Congratulations.
Is this your site?
If not who's doing it and why.
Thanks for the mention and reminding me of just how good looking I am.

Hey Joe, thanks for the support and the butter! Bogie says hi and you and I will be getting together this year sometime for sure from what I’m hearing but can’t talk about it yet! I built the senior softball site to support our local senior’s day, evening and co-ed leagues for team schedules, game scores and standings. There had been a cry locally for a web site for some years in our area, and hell, why not me put it together, I’m good! LOL.

Actually Harlen Ward, who is the vice president of the Tukwila Community Senior Softball program here in Seattle, asked me to do it after the season ended last year. I was told that some one last year was given a lot of money to do what I did for FREE (build a senior softball web site) and they failed miserably. I’m a web site software developer for a very large Aerospace company here in the greater Seattle area so it was right up my alley. I figured, why not give something back to senior softball, as it has given all of us a new lease on life in my opinion.

While I was building the web site for league stuff I decided to make it a ‘bulletin board” or “portal” to other interesting softball sites as well as local information content. I also built a schedule of local popular tournaments in great detail with some fantastic input from a Mr. Frank Agnello of Senior Softball NW, who puts on local tournaments for us seniors here as well as SSUSA local qualifiers.

That’s enough for now,
Bashbro1 ( W.E. Ruth 60’s Kent, WA)
