Hitting DVD
Does anyone know of a hitting DVD for senior softball. One that is talks about the needs and certain aspects for us older guys that want to hit like a 25 year old.

I really liked the clinic by Bill Gately we attended but seem to forget half the items talked about. So I though a DVD would be a good idea.

Here's a link to one that I think is good. "Blasting Bombs"

http://sportstechnique.com/

Swing Mechanics has two good DVDs also.

Absolutingly.
Any one of Ken VanBogart's DVDs, as I have 3 of them,
are monster good.
He's a natural teacher, generous, enthusiastic, interested
and interesting.
The one about the second swing or the whip of the bat
into the ball was the most valuable for me.
He used this guy who was maybe 5 foot 9 and about 155 pounds
demonstrating Bogie's idea and he was crushing the ball,
345 to 350.
This was the most impressive thing I ever saw and hooked me
to see that what this guy was doing given that he was not that powerful a guy,
as a technique would have to work.
And it does.
You can go to kellysultimatesports.com and purchase anyone of Bogie's DVDs.

The 5'9" midget I believev is Josh Foster, JIT (Josh in Tampa). Josh placed 2nd in our hr derby at Classic Spring Training a few weeks ago. He has great mechanics! I am also featured in the video. Ken did a great job with the DVD.
Other DVD's you may want to consider are the two by Todd Graham. Check out his website at swingmechanics.com.

Hey Bruce,
Congratulations on showing your stuff in Florida.
With that old coot Terrel on the mound
you guys can play with anyone.
Thanks for the name on Josh Foster.
Watching big muscle guys kill the ball is fun
but not as instructive as seeing some smaller guy
crush.
It gets you pysched because it's easy to say,
"hey, I'm stronger than THAT guy.
So I should be crushin' 'em, too."
Then you wanna learn what HE"S doing because
that technique can help anyone, including you.
That's what got me on Bogie's Videos and I've learned a ton from him because I got hooked by Josh Foster.

I've heard "I'm stronger than he, why can't I hit like that" too many times.
Josh does show how the smaller guy can hit, plus, he is a heck of a nice guy!

Bob, I don't know what I was thinking. He might even be 5'5"!
