| May 8 Brett Men's 55 239 posts | Cancelled tournament refunds Has anyone not ever received their entire tournament entry fee back on a rained-out tournament? My team paid $325 to enter a SPA tournament this past weekend in Omaha, NE. The tournament was cancelled and postponed for the following weekend. My team is unable to make it due to prior commitments (graduation ceremonies, Mother\'s Day, etc.). I was told we would only receive a $275 refund back. I have never encountered such a thing in all my years of playing softball. If this is how SPA tournaments are ran, no wonder fewer and fewer teams are wanting to play in their tournaments. |
