Thanks bond_171513 ... We're attacking it by committee ... It doesn't matter who's doing it; we all subscribe to the motto espoused by Robert Woodruff, the former President of Coca Cola (from 1923 to 1985): "..There is no limit to what a man can do or how far he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit.." ... [Of course, that was before awesome quotes had to be neutered!]

Well the committee is doing a terrific job !! To add another quote/cliche... Patience is a virtue (especially when the WORLDS roll around). Any "sniffs" available for the 50 divisions?

Hopefully, someone on The Committee will revisit the 70men's AAA. I've used up my World's page refreshing quota.

No updates since Friday night. How about trying this......

1. Give somebody the rights to the PDF schedule DD has created.

2. Every 3 hours the directors at the fields take pictures of the score sheets.

3. Text or email these pictures to the person with the rights of the PDF.

4. That person than updates the schedule on line.

65 ... Lets try this instead ... The PDF files I generate are NOT encrypted or restricted access ... They are completely open architecture for your perusal ... Post your cell phone number here and I'll see how many Directors I can get to photo-text you periodic updates ... Try your hand at doing those updates, and I'll send you an email address where you can forward them for accumulated processing and posting ... There won't be anyone in the office in Sacramento until tomorrow morning, but they'll get to it as soon as they can ... Just for planning your work-flow timing, there are 2,116 games in this year's schedule and some days, like last night, two of the three venues finished just at or slightly after midnight ... Thanks!

DD They are open for perusal, but I can not add to them. I already tried to add the scores which I can do, but it doesn't SAVE.

I would love to help you if they would let me. Thanks!!

They can be saved ... FILE ► SAVE does it ... Please don't change the file names ... But they can absolutely be edited ... Just open the entire file, pick the page you want, open the "edit" function in Adobe Acrobat and go for it ... When you get done, simply save the file and B*I*N*G*O, it's updated ... Be careful where you put your cursor when you update individual scores, it can be a mess if you get out of sequence or alignment ... Try a couple and let us know ... It's entirely possible the level of work and time required for this is going to be a bit more than you might think on the front end ... But thanks! .

They can not be saved to your site, if they could, any Mo, Larry or Curly could mess with your brackets. And of course that would not be a good thing.

And yes, it's a simple procedure if done as you go. Not trying to be difficult, but trying to give a solution to what seems as an impossible task.

I would like to point out what a WONDERFUL job you did with updating the 40 major bracket on Friday. I just don't understand why that couldn't be done all weekend.

Have a Great Championship Sunday!!

No worries here ... And thank you for the kind words ... This is a very time consuming process because the scheduling system is a one-of-a-kind completely custom endeavor ... I'm not technically sophisticated or talented enough to make it an instant electronic marvel, but others are looking at it ... What happens, as a practical matter, is I'm generally able to update from the site where I'm physically working, and whatever else fits available time for both me and the other Directors ... If the past decade or so is any indication, the anonymous critics will continue to enjoy and employ their amusing critical commentary!

BTW, the 40-Major+ and 40-Major from Big League Dreams are posted through thus morning's games ...
