| Nov. 18 Webbie25 Men's 70 2414 posts | Winter Worlds 2022 In almost perfect weather, and what is considered cold (upper 60's and breezy) for Phoenix in November, Winter Worlds came out great. Especially, I have to compliment our directors, including Tim McElroy for making a 'big call' that sometimes is not made. The championship game for 70 Major was on a 'sun field' with the sun moving over to right behind the pitcher during the game. With the low positioning of the sun this time of year, it is almost impossible to play totally around the sun. When it went to an IF game, they made the call to move to another field. THANK YOU. |
