New to the board and to senior softball
My name is Don Clanton and I'm 47 (will be 48 in July). I'm new to the senior scene, and haven't played sanctioned ball since 2014-15. I live in Sumrall, MS and I'm attempting to get back into the sport. I played for roughly 24 years, and I loved the sport and what came with it. I'm gonna apply for my senior card, and wouldn't mind trying my hand at the senior level one day if I can knock the rust off. I was mainly a 1B/C/EH when I played, my body is older now but I'm working on getting back into some kind of playing shape. I'm gonna pick up with some younger guys to play some tournaments here in MS, but I would love to one day make a 40+ roster if possible close to MS. I just wanted to introduce myself, and look forward to getting back on the field, thanks.

BIGDIESEL77-Good choice, Don. It's still fun. I'm 71 and never dreamed I would even be playing at this age. Many of us believe that the key is to NEVER STOP PLAYING. Have fun, and work back into it slowly.......muscles that haven't been used for some time pull so easily. Good luck.

Thanks Webbie, I appreciate it. Wish I had kept playing, but maybe I can get some of it back
