I have relocated to Ga. from Tx as of late last Summer and looking for a team for 2008. AAA and above.
Left handed thow and bat, play first and outfield.
Consider myself a line drive hitter with pop.
Played last year with Texas Legends 50+ AAA team.
started relocating in July so had to give it up.
Can travel for tourneys, so playing with Ga. team or toching state is no problem.
Willing to workout/ryout for interested team.

DT7-Is this the Dave Thornton who moved from Virginia to Dallas several years ago? If so, this is your friend Larry Lopez. If you are now living in Georgia, I suggest you get with Bruce Fairchild (BruceinGa) who knows all the good teams in Georgia and bordering states that need players.

I'm sure Bruce will see this, and, if so, I can tell you that Dave is a very good player with pop and a great person as well. I have know Dave for about 25 years. He used to play 'A' ball with Theisman's back in the 80's.

Dave, I saw you post earlier today and thought that I would wait to see if Don would reply.
I played with Don's team in the NSA Nationals, ASA Nationals and most of their players in the ASA 45+ Nationals. They have some very good ball players, several having played major plus before.
You didn't say where you live. Some of their guys live in Alabama and some in Ga.
Speaking of Theisman's, we played them maybe in 1983 at Al Bishop complex in Mairetta, Ga. I played with Rehoboth Presbyterian and recall that we had to play Theisman's Sunday morning. We could see their amusement of having to play a church team, Long story short, we won, I had a good game with 2 hrs.
You should contact Don.
Good luck.
