Are you a current or former softball/baseball player? Do you miss the action and camaraderie of the game? Harris County Senior Softball League (HCSSL) has been in existence in the greater Houston area for senior men and women ages 50 and older since 1981 Location: Bayland Park 6400 Bissonnet, Houston 77084 (west of Bellaire area near Hillcroft Ave). Dates: Summer Applications Due: Feb 22, 2008 New Player Tryouts: Saturday, Mar 1, 2008 at 8:30AM (To determine your division level) Start of Summer Season: Apr 7, 2008 Game Times: 6:30PM 7:40 PM 8:50 PM Approximately 45-50 summer season games at two per week. Cost: $120, (add $30 more for 1st yr players) team cap & shirt provided. Additional shirts can be purchased. See Application for further details. TEAMS: * The HCSSL consists of 24 sponsored teams, of 12 players each. * Teams grouped into four 6-team Divisions defined by player ability & skill level. | March 17 naked cowboy Men's 50 40 posts | Hello,is there a late registration and/or try outs for these leagues??? I have been trying to get back to the Houston areaand it appears, with a little luck, that I'll be back home by the end of April. Would sure love to get back into playing ball !!! I pitch, catch, and can play any where in the infield to start,eventually after some pratice and getting back into shape the outfield also. |
| Nov. 14 desperado 3 posts | I'm interested in playing in your tournaments. I won't be able to make it for the league games since I live in San Antonio, but i can can make the tourn.'s on weekends. I've happy to try out to see what level of competition I fall in. I have over 20 yrs experience playing. I'm actively playing in S.A. But I want to play in the 50 and over. There's no 50 and over leagues here. I can pitch, catch, 1st base, second base. I'm a consistant base hitter. My number is 210-300-2085 Robert "Desperado". |
