I did the same thing last year. I needed to get another senior bat because the U-2 was not legal. I went with the Combat and stayed with the balanced because thats what the U-2 is. The only thing that I changed was the grip. Went with a thin Easton after market.( did not over lap the tape ) It made the handle alot thinner, more like the Ultra

If you want a balance bat then IMO the Worth Launch 510. This is the most balanced bat I have come across for me. I have 30 oz and it doesn't feel anywhere near 30 oz. I had to weigh it and it was 30.3 oz.

For me the one thing I don't care for is the thin handle. It has a thin handle like the Easton's which is why I never ended up with Easton Synergy's.

Can't compare it to an Ultra as I never owned one. Never did like the feel of them.

In some stores, they are right next to each other on the bat rack. (Just kidding)
I swung the Worth 510 just a few times and it felt like a counter balanced bat to me. All the weight was in the handle which I don't like. I missed the ball completly off the tee that the bat rep had on my first 2 swings. Man that thing felt light.
The Ultra is balanced also.
If you like end load, the Combat is my choice.
I would choose 1 oz heavier for Ultra and 2 oz heavier for Worth when buying.
Just my opinion.

THE WORTH WAS DECENT BUT NOT AS HOT AS THE ULTRA OUT OF THE WRAP....BUT IT DID GET BETTER AS U HIT WITH IT....I HAD A 28OZ THAT FELT LIGHTER....JUST CRACKED IT THIS WEEKEND AND BECAUSE IT COSTS MORE THAN A ULTRA WHY BUY IT??????

The balance point on my 30 oz one is 19 15/16" which is just a litter over half way making it a pretty balance bat. Can't much more balanced.

I do agree it takes some getting used to feeling so light. I had a great tendency to overswing for 30-40 hits.

THE WORTH LAUNCH 510 IS MANUFACTURED AT THE MIKEN PLANT. IT IS BASICALLY AN ULTRA II WITH A SLIGHTLY LONGER BARREL. IT ALSO HAS A DIFFERENT KNOB WHICH IS TAPPERED. THAT IS WHY IT FEELS LIKE A MIKEN ULTRA II.

pretty accurate information. The worth is a ultra II in wolf's clothing. It has alonger barrel and a little more of the weight is in the hanle. The senior combat is mor of a match to the UIl and the balanced senio combat. The Original ultra maxload is a match to the Senior combat Endloaded. The only difference in a Ultra maxload and an ultra II is its balance point. If you are happy with a 28 UII get a 28 bal senior combat. If you hit better with an Ultra maxload get the same size senior combat el. If i am trying for average I swing a 28 bal, if I am going for the fence I swing a 27 EL. If you like your UII but hope for more distance, go down an ounce and go to the el, ie a 29 bal or a 28 EL feel almost the same but more of 28 weight is in the end . I have all sizes available at $199 with free quick delivery and so does Kevin Jim 903 236 3459
