I don't know about being the "team to beat" but we've definitely picked up some damn good players. Only time will tell how it'll work out.
A very strong Milwaukee Merchants team whooped up on us pretty good in Champaign. As competitors of course we'd like to play them again but if they play like they did in Champaign we (or most anyone else) definitely have our work cut out for us. Good luck to all the rest of '08.

Gekle Builders temperatures in late August in Vegas. Me personally I'm hoping for something near our record highs. Not really sure how to describe playing in 110-115 temps to someone who may not have ever done it. Take solace it's a dry heat though. Bring lots of players.

Gekle they split the Major/Major Plus and AA/AAA due to field reductions. LVSSA website has the precise split. Good news the field situation should be much nicer. Arroyo Grande, Russell Road and Sunset Park from what I was told. Hell where your from it could be snowing in Late August. In all seriousness do some reading and layout some plans for breathers, keep drinking fluids all the common sense stuff. Don't quote me but I think there will be some downtime scheduled during the hottest part of the days, and STAY OUT OF THE LOSERS BRACKET LOL. BTW Cotton is the enemy.

Thanks Ray. I wish we would have played it out Sunday not only because I was ready but my flight home got all screwed up. I was stand by on the 2:25 flight direct to Detroit and didn't make it--everyone showed. I had a seat on the 3:25 flight (w/ a stop in Chicago) but it was delayed an hour and a half which meant I would have missed my connection from Chicago. So I went on the original one I was booked which left at 5:15 to Chicago, then Chicago to Detroit. We got in at 8:45. Was home at 9:45. Not fun sitting around the St Louis airport for 5 hours. I'll bet everyone beat me home. Oh well.
I mailed that ad specialty info to you today. You should have it by tomorrow or Friday. Got some pretty good deals on pens.
