A big thank you to those who gave me the great directions to avoid the LA traffic. It was a smooth ride.
I met many guys for the board & hope to meet up with you again some place down the road. I was not able to hook up with any from the Double Nickle team. I had the TD place a call to the other fields being used and was told at 5pm that they were down by 10 in the open inning and if they were to play again it would not be until 6:40 where I was at. So I decided to let back up north. I was almost half way home by then. Maybe another time.
To all you whom I met for the first time or again, made my weekend a great one. I thank you.

Taits, sorry we missed you. We were down by 10 in the open inning, but we got lucky and came back and won in extra innings. Hope to see you somewhere down the road.

I was looking forward to meeting you guys. That must have been a great game.
I haven't played on an open field in years. Now I remember whay some teams only go to those places.
Has anyone measured the didtance on field 1 from home plate to the center field sloap?

Somebody on the Outlaws might know. It only looks about 275'. Years ago we would just blast it into those trees and run 'til they got it back in, lol.

Ken,
I talked to some of the teams players we played against. None admitted posting to this board or another board.
Did not meet any from the Outlaws. Many other teams though.
As for 275, don't think so. But maybe my glasses were smeared. lol
