Sept. 9 Joncon 328 posts | I don't want to bump the drama threads down but.....The first Beatles album released in the US was.......? |
Sept. 9 Dbax Men's 65 2101 posts | Meet the Beatles? |
Sept. 9 Joncon 328 posts | Nope :( |
Sept. 9 doker Men's 60 185 posts | hard days night |
Sept. 9 Dbax Men's 65 2101 posts | Hard Days Night was way down the line. |
Sept. 9 Lecak Men's 60 1026 posts | Introducing the beatles, if I'm right Dave I'm feeling ornery I think I'll do a brain twister. |
Sept. 9 Dbax Men's 65 2101 posts | I think your right, but there seems to be some disagreement on that on the internet. |
Sept. 9 Joncon 328 posts | Meet The Beatles was the first from Capitol records but a label called VJ or VeeJay somehow also had a deal with The Beatles and pressed a few thousand copies of "Introducing The Beatles" a few months before Capritols "Meet The Beatles". Original copies are somewhat rare and can fetch several thousand dollars. There are far more counterfiet copies in circulation but even they are worth a few hundred. I fI remember correctly, the only song on IYB that was not on any Capitol album was "Misery". |
Sept. 9 Joncon 328 posts | And....disagreemeny on the internet? Get outta here. |
Sept. 9 Joncon 328 posts | Dammit! I seriously need an edit feature. |
Sept. 9 Lecak Men's 60 1026 posts | Who wrote the lyrics for the greatest band of all times The Grateful Dead. |
Sept. 9 Dbax Men's 65 2101 posts | This must be a trick question. The Dead, greatest of all time??? Maybe if your on acid. Unlistenable. :) |
Sept. 9 Joncon 328 posts | He's obviously having a flashback of some sort. |
Sept. 11 Dbax Men's 65 2101 posts | Mr. Ornery, Answer your question and post another. You stumped us. |
Sept. 11 Lecak Men's 60 1026 posts | Robert Johnson and John Barlow wrote most of the lyrics. Who originally joined the Yardbirds to play bass guitar? |
Sept. 11 Dbax Men's 65 2101 posts | Jimmy Page. After researching the Deads song writers, it seems one of them was in a scientific experiment where he took lsd, mescaline and psylocibin. No wonder that group sucks. |
Sept. 11 Lecak Men's 60 1026 posts | Jimmy Page is correct. Dave I used to travel up and down the California coast when I was younger following the Dead. Good stuff, I could write a book, but most of my memories are in fog shrouded, haze. |

Sept. 16 stattad Men's 65 235 posts | Right, Joncon. I hate to answer another one so soon, but--- his DOG. I even listened to a few other songs from his only album, and they are equally strange. There is one song from the dog's point of view to the master. |
