Nov. 5 batter4u Men's 65 82 posts | well after years at the gym, working out and lots of batting practice, i finally decided that beings softball an't about being able to hit the ball hard and far, it s about making money, selling bats, keeping the balls in the park and keeping good balls and bats out of the game,,, so no more working out and batting practice, i m just going to sit on the couch , drink beer, get fat and dink the damm ball over the pitcher,,,,, mabye first base if they play in for me. heck, i might not live as long but then they dont have to worry about me loosing a good ball over the fence and costing them $5.00 |
Nov. 6 Fred Scerra Men's 80 542 posts | There is nothing wrong about being a single and double hitter. I always beleive that all that work out routines were wasting time anyway. It takes skill to be a single/double hitter but pure power to be a home run hitter. I could hit the ball as far as anyone when younger and I can still get 275' at age 71 and I never worked out in my life. |
