I baught a ASA Ultra 2 this pass week end and I believe this bat must be one the first ones made. I was using my 510 most of the tourneyment and in the last game I decided to try this Ultra 2 28oz. This bat hit like it was real stift. So the ball only went about 250 feet. I wasn' waiting for that since I have 2 more ultra's and they hit well. I never really notice when I baught this ultra 2 that it felt like the wieght was at lease 1 to 2 oz's heavier than other 28 oz's I have. I took it to the park and hit it off the tie. It didn't hit no better than any ASA bat that I have. The first round of 36 I hit 11 over a 300 foot fence. Which to me this isn't real good. The second round of 36 balls I hit 17 out. I hit a lot bp normally and the distance wasn't there for an Ultra. I never hit the first batch of Ultra 2's. Maybe they were stift back than because if you remember in 2003 we was hitting a 525 ball not a 375. I'm not to worried if it will break in just wondering if anyone out there ever had one this stift.

Lefty,
This is very typical of the orginals, especially the ones with the ASA Stamp.
When they pop you will know.
If you're hearing isn't bad like mine you will also hear the MIKEN rattle.
How did the better half like being at the games?
Was good seeing everybody and a pretty good even tournament.
Take Care and God Bless,

Jim thanks for the info on the Ultra2. I've never owned the original one nor have I seen one that wasn't broken in. The wife enjoyed herself. She finallly got to see me in action. I'm sure glad I had a good tourneyment. I guess Georgia Express won the 60's. I'll see you around next year. Oh be the way great pitching and hitting.
