This is a great name for a senior tournament, but this it is more of an "All Nighter" for all divisions in the beautiful turf complex in Reno. So this is probably only of interest to western seniors. They are having their first try at a senior division this year. While they are loosely using ASA rules for the senior division, they are trying to get senior bats approved for this division only. Anyway if anyone is interested, the web site is www.boneyardblast.com.

So can some of the California guys please talk about batting practice for me? It is freezing here, and we can only play snowball softball and dream of spring. I am so jealous of you right now. I would not mind hitting a ball in the middle of snow if it was off the top of a mountain in Tahoe though.

Took batting practice in San Diego area. Sunday morning 9AM. 70 degrees and no wind. Hitting Wed in Anaheim 78 degrees no wind. You can't afford to live here, but it is great until we have to leave.

Hi Nancy,
You'd have to come out for a visit
and you're welcome anytime but careful,
you may not want to go back
like a lot of us found out.
Stay cool, Nancy.

Ok, you are all making me jealous, and thanks for your hospitality. I probably would never want to come back, and there are probably actually some senior women playing there. It was -3 when I woke up this morning, and this is way south of the Great Lakes. All we are doing out here is talking about softball. I have gotten a couple of calls about the Indy Brickyard Qualifier (May). Brrrrr!
