March 1 4x4 Men's 65 601 posts | Aleve it is and I have to agree with him. It works for me. I don't recognize the player though. There is also one featuring a basketball player. It's good to see the vitality side of our age group being touted. |

March 2 DMac Men's 60 207 posts | "vitality of our age"? That guy was so slow it was embarassing. |
March 2 AlleninGa Men's 60 113 posts | Aleve definitely helps..... I like the commercial and relate to what he says. As for his speed.....There are slow runners in all age groups. |
March 2 GQ 20 posts | As a point of reference, My name is George Quiggle, and I've been an outfielder for the Shawn Montee 50+ team out of Post Falls, ID (now ranked AAA). Back in 1978, as a pharmaceutical rep, I helped launch the parent drug to "Aleve", called "Naprosyn" (Naproxen) onto the market. Naproxen Sodium, now called "Aleve", disolved in less time than Naproxen (20 minutes). It was the best non-steroidal, ant-inflammatory (NSAID) on the market back then, and it's probably still the best. If youve taken Naprosyn then or now, you're getting the same active ingredient. There are some precautions, and you should definitely read the "patient package insert" before taking it. The only other "unique" product available back then was used primarily for tenditis or bursitis. You rubbed it on the skin, and then tasted it seconds later. That product is called dymethylsulphoxide (DMSO), but that's another thread. Hope to see many of you at tournaments again this summer. |
