Reebok?
Anyone hit the Reebok Dictator? Any pop and or durability? There's a deal online on their 2008 ASA and USSSA bats, $99.98, free shipping ($5 handling chg) and free bat bag.
Enter code YSMHRM10 for another 10% off.

Look under bats on this site. Under Feb. 26 are comments about the Dictator.

I took your's and Stoneman's advice and looked at the thread about the Dictator. Here are the most helpful ones:

I have a 26 that has about 500 hits.
Has a different sound to it. It's got good pop, if you can get one fairly cheap, it's not a bad bat.

I had a white dictator that hit well but only lasted about 500 hits. I would not get the blue '09 asa because of the new rules.

Salio2K was the only one to actually say what the model was. The others didn't. They could be hitting ASA, USSSA, 2008 or 2009 bats. Wagon has the same philosophy that I have, at less than $100 it's a good deal. You have to remember that it will have a warrenty return. I also believe that any pre 2009 ASA bat at a decent price is a great deal.
Here a pic of the latest:

BrueinGa.........thanks for the heads-up on the Reebok. I just bought one...$108.94. The system had trouble with the 10% off code.......added $7 to shipping...saved about $3.75 off price. Still a good deal!

Someone just posted on SF that the free shipping is for items over $99. When you put in the code for 10% off it lowers the price to around $90 and they charge you fro shipping.
Maybe we should have bought two and used the 10% off code!

Gary, My question wasn't is there a better bat than one of these made by Reebok. (btw, you never said which one you have)
What I am try to get across to everyone is that here is a deal where a composite bats is offered for right around $100. If it breaks within the first year they probably will give me a later model bat.
If it breaks during the second year I get my money back (because I paid with my credit card. Tell me where else you can get this kind of deal.

sorry bruce i have a dictator but for a$100 go for it i would rather spend $40 more and get a launch 510 plus it is a senior bat that hits great.

Problem is that I can't use a Launch in an ASA league.
Everyone has their own opinion. I, for instance, wouldn't buy an Ultra 2, much less a Launch 510. They're too fragile. Spend another $60 and get a MM Combat.

I have over 400 swings on my MM Combat. As for the Launch being a Miken, yes and no. I am familiar with the launch as I tested the prototype a couple of years ago. It broke after 60 swings.
The Dictator that I bought is the white one, ASA approved.

The best ASA Bat outI think is the TPS Voltage 73V not 78V.Ask the boys at the hitting club St.Petersburg.The young kids are killing the ball. They are hard to find but on e-bay they are going for 300+. I have one we use on Mondays night senior League in Clerawater where it is ASA. Once broken in it is the best ASA Bat I have
swung.

I'd have to agree with Rooster. The TPS Voltage (73V) is one hot bat.I bought one before the hype-paid 90.00.They are now hard to find at that price but is imo Best ASA bat and I will swing it in senior ball.

Thanks Rooster, I've heard good things obout the Voltage. But... I've never paid $300 for a bat.
I only play a limited amount of ASA. We may play in the ASA Senior Nats and I also play in an ASA coed league with my daughter. I already have an orange Mayhem, a Techfire and now a Dictator. It would be hard to justify a $300 bat to my wife.

gary#27.....The dictator is made in ASA and U-trip. The problem I see with senior bats is that guys use them for batting practice. They should only be used for games after break in.

The only stores that sell the TPS Voltage are Sports Authority and if you can find the Bat for 99.00 73V it
is well worth it. Sloball I use the bat in FHC Tournaments here in Fl.also
and BRUCEINGA like you I can not afford to pay 300+ for any bats anymore either.Bear from St. Pete said you are one hell of a hitter. He
plays with me on Monday Nights.Good luck in your tournaments this year.
