| May 27, 2009 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | Batter's box at Golden Eagle Can anyone tell me if the batter's boxes are dirt or artificial turf? While I'm thinking about it, I walked across the street to talk to my neighbor, Jim. He's probably in his mid 70's and still active. I asked him to watch over the house and to make sure that the postal service holds my mail until Tuesday. I told him about Golden Eagle and he seemed excited for me. He asked if they gave a home run trophy and I said no, that there was a limit on how many home runs we could hit. Over this amount and it would be an out. Can you guess his response??!! He said "That's the stupidest rule that I've ever heard!" I thought most here would appreciate this. I'll see everyone there Friday! |

What is written I think is fair, realistic was said near the beginning that this was for my lack of a better word "trial" period for the season. We will have to live with it. I wonder though is it applies to AA teams, as there is no mention of them, nor some others. |
