Gekle Builders 50 M+
I would like to take this opportunity to announce to all my friends, peers and aquaintances that I have met, played against over the last five years that I will be stepping aside as manager of Gekle Builders.People like Wood,Einstein,Stoneman,Clatta,Ray Ray,Larry on and on.And a spiecal thanks to Fran Dowell,Senior Softball is in good hands with Fran.Gekle team will carry on under new and more capable management. For all the skill I lacked as a coach I tried to make up with persistance and at this point and time, with mounting cost and politics and travel at this level (not a good flyer) I think it's time for me to step aside..I would like to thank SSUSA for a graet time. Also a shout out of thanks to all former and present players for all thier loyalty and friendship.Gekle will be participating in Winter Nats.in Ft. Meyers and is under reconstruction for 2010.

Thanks and Good Luck to all.

Ray, you were/are
great and terrific for senior softball.
Gracious, generous and easy to talk
with, sincere, eager to help and get involved.
Your Gekkle/Lansing teams were monster good, tough to play against
and great to watch.
We don't need less but more guys
like you.
I'll be in touch.

Ray, I will miss seeing you here and there... as the other guys have already stated, you really are one of the good guys... lots of guys 'flex their keyboard muscles' in ways, overt or subtle, to bring attention to themselves. You are always about 'what is best for the game'...
Best of luck in your future endeavors...
Sincerely, BW

Ray,
Spoke with you briefly during a game with your buddies from the Mavs. Sure hate to see you go. Either you or someone from your team wanted contact info on one of my players who used to play for you guys... if so, you can answer here or I can get you my E Mail address. Let me know. And, senior softball will be missing a true class act, when you leave.

Ray, you will be missed. It was always nice to see you at a few of the tournaments every year. I want to thank you for the opportunity to play with you a couple of years ago. You gave me a chance to play at that level and truly enjoyed it. You have always put a great team on the field. Take care and good luck in whatever you do.

Hey Ray.
You must have been doing something very well.
The G men went from competing at Level III to Major + within the past three years!
Good luck with hot rodding and fishing again!
