Why move up?

Hi Folks:
I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving and realize how fortunate we are to still be able to play the game of senior softball.

I have seen a trend the last couple years and particularly this year of players and in some cases teams playing "AAA" when they could easily play and compete in Major. I asked a few of them why and was told it is just not worth moving up. You get 2 more home runs and far less teams to play. Many of these guys are not only high quality hitters but with a ton of power. We read so much about combining Major and Major + why not combine "AAA" and major and have some fun. Make HR's 5 or 7 plus one up and I think a lot of teams can compete.

Thank You:

James

James, we haven't got a sniff of a major team in NM. If we took the best, maybe, but it will never happen. I would love to try playing higher for the competitiveness of it.
