We are a new team. We will be starting out AA. We will be looking for a shortstop, 2nd base, and an outfielder. You must touch the state of Colorado. We are looking to travel to at least 5 tournaments. If you think you are a competitive AA player, and want to play tournament AA ball, contact me at 303-437-5340. Thanks.

I don't think so, because I know of a new team here in Co., and they went AA. If they make us go AAA, then so be it. We have to start somewhere.

#6,
Your correct ,,, BUT... they have been known to change the rating SOON, perhaps then. Been there.
Might also depend on your age group and what players you get from other teams as well as how many...
I don't think starting off as AA is right, but there is a lot I question in the exceptions to exceptions, etc, etc realm of things.
If the d45 relates to a 45 year old team, I'd say 3A to start.

No,we are a 65 team and the players that were previous all played on a AA team. I have advertised that I need 65+ players and if they are AA tournament caliber, then we are interested.

If anyone wants to play in a Colorado Senior Softbal league and you are from the Denver Metro area, feel free to contact, DuWayne Pillard at d69zcam@comcast.net or call me at, 303-437-5340. We would like to play at least in the B-2 division if there is a possible opening. You have to be at least 50. Thanks.

I want to clarify something if it isn't clear. The tournament team that we are forming is a 65 to 69 age group. If you are 64 now, but will be 65 in 2010, it is ok. If you would like to be on our Wed. team, you can be 50+. The cost for the Wed. team will be $60 for the entire summer league starting in April thru Aug. We will also play in a spring league during the day on a Tue. or Thur. starting the first week in March that will cost each player $5 for the entire 7 weeks. The cost of the traveling team will be a total of $150. There will be no cost for the new uniforms we are getting or any cost for the tournament entry fees. You obviously have to live in the Denver Metro area to play summer league, however, you can live in one of the seven states that touch Colorado to play on our tournament team. If you think this is for you, and you are tournament caliber of at least AA, contact me at d69zcam@comcast.net or, 303-437-5340. We need 3-4 players. Thanks.

We are a new 65 Scrap Iron team from Colorado. We will be playing in Mesquite for the SSUSA in March and the SPA in May in Mesquite. We also are going to play in K.City, Reno, San Diego, and St. George. If you will be 65 in 2010, we can use you! Your state must touch Colorado to be eligible to play with us. We are looking for about three players who will be committed to these tournaments. Thank you. d45
