It still isn't leagal. If you're refering to the new Ultra, it has an endload half way between the black U2 and the red Ultra Maxload. It isn't the original Ultra.

I didn't get the chance to go to the TOC this year because of the weather, but a friend told me that the Miken people were doing very well with the sales of these new bats. Has anyone used one, and if so what did you think?

I had the chance to hit it this past weekend and it seems to be more durable. Hits the same for me, but what we put it through it is more durable, how much we will see.

Thanks trumpball,

I have a Legacy, along with the black Ultra II, but the Legacy seems stiff and hard to break in. I had been thinking about buying the red end-loaded, but have a end loaded Macenko. Maybe I'll give this new one a shot.

I heard the new Grey one is really the old Grey one, BALANCED, which is the same as the Ultra 2 but only slightly more end loaded.
The lethal Grey one was the end loaded
version of the original Ultra and not the BALANCED version.
The original Ultra seemed more durable
than the Ultra 2's,
even the end loaded ones, to me.

Well for starters it has a .25 endload more than the black u-2. if it were the gray only the 26 balanced would pass the test. 2 we hit it a bunch, I did not see any more distance than the black or red u-2.
