does anyone have a clue to the rating reasoning cause i sure dont. we had one decent tournament in march then the next two qualifiers we got trounced. we are the Texas pickups AA team thats in the AAA division,we have been run ruled by most of the texas AAA teams been beated by the AA teams plus run ruled by them also. i just read where the san antonio missions went from AAA to AA and they have run ruled us twice. we arent afraid to play anyone, but if its a donation of money for the AAA division i guess thats what we will have to do.
the wisdom of keeping us in AAA is proof to me that someone just doesnt care about fair competition.

LP,

I think they actually do care in most instances. They just do not always get it right, and there are several favorites. With all of the Texas teams, just maybe SSUSA moved the wrong team. If you got run-ruled as you say and did not add any new players of higher ability, then you might just call up and ask.

LP-In 2006 our Desperado team went to our first senior tourney as a AA team. We came in 3rd in Las Vegas and were immediately moved to AAA. We took some bad drubbings for a lot of the year, but these guys practiced year around-including in snowstorms to get better and compete. With basically the same team, we went 1-5 in Phoenix in 2007 (Lost one game 27-3), 2-4 in Vegas that year, improved during the year in 2008 and went 3-4 in Phoenix and 4-3 in Vegas, and in 2009 won a couple tourneys and went 6-3 and finished 3rd in 50AAA in Phoenix out of 27 teams in our bracket. We sure questioned the move up at the time, but learned to compete. I hope you guys are able to do the same. The SSUSA guys spend a lot of time on this. I know they care and try their best to get it right.

I think SSUSA does a good job on the ratings. Is it perfect? Probably not, but it’s not bad and beats not having a system in place. They need teams to play a number of tournaments to assess you. Here's the process:

i know the process Enviro-Vac we played in three qualifiers played decent in our first one but the next two proved what kind of team we have,
1 and 4 in one and 0 and 5 in the other. been run ruled in several games, but i guess there has to be foder for the other teams and thats will be us. but we will be there in phoenix with the EMS close bye.
