| Sept. 3 T-REX 64 posts | mike....you guys earned the title fair and square,and my hats off to you and your team,your a first class group,and you played lights out in Des Moines!Our games have been not only exciting to play in but to watch as well! | Sept. 4 MK39 Men's 50 333 posts | T-REX Thanks T-REX and it sure was an exciting time for us. 2 games decided by 1 run shows just how good both teams were playing. Your 2 great defensive plays in the if game were huge and gave your team evey chance to beat us. I think my decision to pitch the junk baller Joe (Einstein) was huge as you sure hit my other 2 pitchers real good. It was an experiment that had a happy ending. Kelly's Sports is done for this year but we plan on attending from 4 to 6 worlds next year so i will see you then somewhere. Have a safe and happy time until then. | Sept. 4 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Hey Tommy, You guys are are not only terrific competitors but terrific guys as well. You double dipped us last year and this year was our turn. The fact that both teams respect and care for each other puts a hole in the theory that you have to hate your opponent to be a champion. There's an old quote that goes, "I love my enemy because he brings out the best in me." Again, thanks for the complements. You're a monster on offense AND defense. See you soon. |
