| Dec. 20, 2010 Tater50 325 posts | Senior Bats: Convince Me!!! I used a stock Miken V-1 forever; still have 5, 2 Brand New ones. I have been swinging the Worth Gold 510 for around 3 years (got 2 of them NIW & cheap off of Ebay); have not cracked it yet (wussy, I guess. Still have one NIW.) I do not keep up to date on bats: would you give me the pros & cons of the latest Senior Bats; with prices? Thanks Tater50 |
| Dec. 20, 2010 surf88 Men's 60 731 posts | Tater: Have been a Miken UII guy for years. Before that, used Worth and others. Tried the new Reebok Melee in October. It had performance "pop" out of the wrapper. I did a lot of BP off a tee with it and it seemed to hold up really well. I hear from big guys around the country that it is strong and holding up longer than the U II's. It feels solid when it connects with the ball. If I can be of assistance to you, I will gladly help you get one. My email is ed@ewandrews.com or (970) 728-3144. Ed Call me with additional ?'s |
| Dec. 20, 2010 Tater50 325 posts | Ed: thanks; sounds like a good bat; maybe someone in Ga can meet up w/me & I can see & use one before I buy. I have an ASA U2 & the WG510; I've hit hundreds of balls off of a tee here at my farm; measured them & I see no significant difference between the two. I have 2/WG510's, so I do not want to use the UII, since it is so rare. Tater50 |
