worth or miken
Does anyone know how the worth mayhem 120 compares to the ultra II? How does the worth mayhem 98 compare to the miken freak?

No legal bat comes even close to the Ultra II. Also Miken makes the Worth Mayhem so I don't think they would make it as hot as the Maniac. The Mayhem, Maniac, and Catalyst are all very close and are the top bats next to the Ultra II

the Miken freak is a very good back and even better after a couple hundred swings. I have a Mayhem and the freak Plus is a better bat out of wapper and hotter after the break-in period. as far as a Ultra II nothing out of the wapper compares to it but I have hit a couple of broken in Miken that are close right before they break. I call them rain stick.

The U II is the very best bat.
I used the Mayhem in Plano SPA. It is a good bat. Just out of the wrapper it does not seem to be different than the Freak or Synergy Plus.
For me the Mayhem does have a good feel when I swing it. The weight was 28 ounces.
I swing a 30oz in the U II.

Gary19: I think they are asking for input about how it compares when hitting a ball. I saw you swing it, but did you HIT IT! HAHAHA

It was nice to see you there. Hope to see you again.

I carry UII, Freak plus, and Synergy plus and would rank these bats in that order. somone send me a Mayhem and I'll try it out. LOL

I had the chance to talk to the Miken rep at BatWars in Lancaster this spring. He recommended the Mayhem and said that it was, basically, the Freak Plus.
I have a little better than a thousand swings on mine now and would agree. It isn't the UII but it is as good as anything else out there. I have not swung the Mayhem 98 so I can't comment there, but the Mayhem is the bat that I use most often now. If the UII goes away, this would be my first choice.

Early in the year, I saw quite a few 120s at no Miken tournies. The ball seemed to jump quite well. Even though there were only a few Hrs, the ASAballs sucked, I did see a number of balls hit to the warning track. I am going to wait for the next round of bannings before I get another bat when I can't use the U2 but the 120 is high on my list.
