No more a flaw than allowing someone on the message board without posting their name. Dirty you are not interested in helping the game just griping and complaining about something you don't even participate in.

Discussion: Looking for Phoenix team

I am looking for a 50 AA, AAA, or Major team that needs a player for Phoenix. My 55 AAA team folded and I have a plane ticket for Phoenix. I am from Kentucky so it would have to be a team from Ind, Mo, IL, Tenn, Ohio, WV, or Va.
I play outfield and also can run. I would like to play but would consider pitnch running also. Any team interested please e-mail me at stig52@insightbb.com.

Discussion: RAINOUT IN ISA NATIONALS IN BRIDGETON MO

Jerry Jackson is the biggest problem with this tournament. His attitude is that he is always right and if you disagree with him he goes off. He is in it for the money and he will sacrifice the lower class teams by putting them in with higher class teams and make them use fields that are inferior. Teams you have been warned. Do not go to this Mickey Mouse World Tournament again. We as players need to take control of our game.

Discussion: RAINOUT IN ISA NATIONALS IN BRIDGETON MO

The director of this ISA tournament was the same guy making the decisions at the Midwest championships at Champaign a few weeks ago and they did the same thing. They had no plan for the rain and made no effort to get the fields ready after the rain but made sure to let everyone know that if it rained they would go to a single elimination tournament. It rained out almost the entire sat and it worked out well for the tournament directors. With the old schedule they were scheduled to be done at 7:00 on sun night. With the new schedule they got done at 2:00 on sun. Almost no teams got there 5 games and no one was given a refund. Sounds like the tournament dicectors in both tournaments made some extra money because of the rain. Why do you think they were so quick to cancell the games ant not make the effort to get them going. We made the decision not to go back to this tournament after last year when they put AAA, Major and Major plus in the same tournament and the director said he just wanted to make sure everyone got to play and he got to keep our $550.00. .DO NOT GO TO THESE SO CALLED MICKY MOUSE WORLD TOURNAMENTS.

The umpire was right in calling a ball. Once the pitcher starts his motion forward he must release the ball or it is an illegal pitch. Only an umpire can call time once the pitcher has started his windup.

Just a question. Since Brickyard was a 50 AAA team last year. I assume the Brickyard 55 is a new team. I thought all new teams start out AAA.

Lefty, we were looking at the Gallatin Tournament but it is on Derby Day and we have a lot of police on my team who have to work the Derby. It will be tough to get northern teams because the Indy Tournament is the same weekend. Also the Gallatin Tourney is $335 for a four game guarantee while the Indy tourney is $250 for a five game guarentee. There are 4 or 5 teams from Louisville that would love to play in northern Tenn but Derby weekend is bad for all the teams. Good Luck with the Tourney.

Discussion: Can a player play 50aa & 50aaa in two different associations

Thats one of the big problems with senior softball is rosters. If you allowed players to play on two different teams in the same age group you would have all kinds of ringers playing for different teams. Thats what the summit is for to keep teams from loading and adding to their rosters all year long.

Discussion: ISA Sr Nationals

Don't waste your time on the ISA Nationals. It's just a qualifier tournament with a high entry fee. Among the problems are placing AAA, Major, and Major Plus teams together. Placing AA with AAA and having two teams divisions play for a so called world tournament. Senior teams need to avoid these kind of Micky Mouse World tournaments. They are diluting the game.

The main reason Eistein is allowed to rant and rave is because he is not anyomous. When you hide who you are you will not receive any respect no matter what you say or how you say it. TNG you must have a sad life to spend as much time as you do on this site trying to get a rise out of other peoples comments. Don't bother to reply because I will not read any more of your comments.

Sorry Jimmy #7 but Ridge did the right thing not allowing your pickup team in the world tournament. They made the decision to allow 55 major teams to play 50 AAA but they still had to play in a SPA qualifier and establish a roster. Pickup teams should not be allowed in any world tournament.

Jim & Joes won the ISA 55 major World this year. Does that make them major plus in 55 and AAA in 50? I don't have any problem with teams dropping down in age groups but they should play the same classification.

I have said this all year. They are opening a can of worms when they start letting teams play down in age and classification. If a 55 major team wins the 50 AAA world do they get bumped up to 50 major or 55 major plus. This is crazy. Teams should have to play the same classification whether they play 50 or 55. The reason we bump teams up is to get more teams in the upper classification. Allowing teams to drop defeats this reason. Again it is all about money. If I can't play I won't come.
