This is what I get\got out of the so called big brother thing currently posted about. However, IMO at times should have been enacted long before the one mentioned.
Because of actions in December by the two guys not currently posting on the board and peer pressure or the lack of it failed to derail the very negative* postings by them, Their posting privileges were 'temporarily' suspended.
*Negative personal attacks as well as on lack of ID info. If you see my point.
Like I said, and likely others have also that they will return but who knows when. It wasn't a permanent thing.
But since words from fellow players failed to get any positive results, "big brother" once again stepped in and this time it was more than thread removal.

PS; I put thin on a separate thread just in case it got over heated. Which I doubt, but won't be such a loss if edited out in my book.

taits, good thinking. Why hijack a good thread on another topic and see it dumped. I agree with your analysis, although I have no inside info.

It was a guilty pleasure at times, like watching a playground fight when you're a kid, but so many new posters have spoken up since then with some interesting topics and observations, that I like the new tone on the board.

Dave; AKA Big Brother!!

In ALL dealings w/BB; I have gotten pretty fast responses & the replies have been gentlemanly, respectful & professional!!!

Thanks again BB; for cleaning up this SSB "family" website forum which should be used to post & reply "as if" the people you are speaking too are sitting across from you @ a table.

99% of all the mudslinging negativity that is barked on this site would NEVER be said face to face to someone.

To be honest what I wrote was partially from the powers to be reworded. It was also sent to many others who know it as well.
But it is & was all about: personal attacks and to some extent the lack of peer pressure to stem the tide.
Some of us did try just not enough.
Actual phrase used was 'foreseeable future'. Rather than what I used: 'temporarily' suspended'.
Either of which is not permanent.
They, SSUSA, has many other things to do to keep the assn running smoothly rather than having to monitor, read and edit the board.

A good poster was lost last year over this sort of thing which escalated to a higher level for whatever reason and is kept from here, and the game. I think the board portion is by his own choice, but not sure.

As they say, chit happens. Yea misspelled purposely.
