I have never been to Laughlin. I was wondering if anyone could share what the conditions are like on these fields. I was told earlier this week that they were watering the fields every day to get them in better condition. Whatever you can share would be appreciated.

To Ed and all concerned...

Unless Bullhead City Parks and Rec has done a ton of work on Rotary Park, we won't like those fields very much. Clumpy grass in the outfields, the dirt was really dry and blows in your face whenever it gets windy. The dugouts are small and the two north fields face houses and have really short fences. Those home owners have started to complain about softballs breaking things.

For the money SSUSA and the other sanctions have to pay (and its alot) you would think we would get an awesome facility to use. I just keep my fingers crossed that they at least cut the grass this time.

One nice thing about Rotary...if you like to fish the park is right next to the boat launch on the Colorado River. Tons of parking.

Everyone should keep in mind that it is about a 20 minute drive through Bullhead to get to the park from the Laughlin casino's.
