| June 14 Marv19 Men's 60 498 posts | Saturday Only rooms in Temecula 6-25-2011 As most of you that will be participating in the June 25-26 tournament in Temecula know there is a shortage of rooms. I live here and I will tell this is a very popular tourist destination especially in spring - summer. So most hotels in the area require a two day stay. I have had a couple of teams ask if there is anything I can do to find rooms. As you may or may not know the city of Temecula visitors and convention Bureau is a sponsor of mine. So I checked with them about the availability of Saturday only rooms. You can access the web site by going to the www.socalssa.com and click on the Temecula Visitor banner (second on the left). This was their response: Hi Marv, I just went on our website and looked up hotels allowing a Saturday only booking on June 25th and came up with the following: Extended Stay America La Quinta Inn & Suites Ramada Inn Old Town Rodeway Inn I think your best option will be to have your group book online IMMEDIATELY through our website to secure the rooms. That is a busy weekend, so it will sell out soon. | June 14 mad dog Men's 65 4191 posts | r hey guys,i do priceline.com a lot and usually get the extended stay america for my bid.look at the site(priceline) first and see what their regular price is and go 50% below that to start your bidding.also they only allow ya to bid once a day,even tho they will ask you for another bid if yours is not accepted,don't know why.so start your bidding at least 3-4 days in advance,i'll go out as far as a month sometimes when i know i'll be needing a room someplace. |
