I see that SPA has corrected the AAA homerun rule to show 2 and a single. Copy and past this link to your address bar and check out other new rules: http://www.spasoftball.com/mens_basic_rules.pdf
One states that all new teams start out as AAA teams. Another says you no longer can change from a Major+ team to a Major team. Where you used to drop one class, now you can't.
The Snowbird rule is also there. Another one that I like is that the batter's box has been extended 6" in front of the plate.
Do you see any more surprises there?

The new rule that if you play 55 major, you can only play down in 50 major. It would seem that we are now labeling players, not just teams. One could be an AAA type Player on a Major roster and be forever a Major Player. Guess this will keep softball whores from playing on two teams.

In my opinion this shouldn't be a hard and fast rule. There are impact players and "others". By the way, Maybe there should be exceptions.

I like the idea of the extra six inches to the box in front. Since the plate is a strike the box should be lengthen a foot.
