ÊSo as not to promote any assn and stir the pot as it were, but this maybe a little presumptuous but there may be some news coming from a major assn (X).ÊSo I keep the names out...go figure. But it's real.
Some real conversations have taken place with various West coast assn's and things work out, X maybe coming in the future for some events.Ê
That could add a new major player on the West coast if timed right and where.
The West coast has many areas with good parks\fields in all 3 states.
I see it as a double edged sword, with the possible new teams that could get a new venue to attend, maybe new teams to compete against as well. Then theirs conflicts from all the other T's currently trying to fill brackets & dated for the T's.
It's already a crowded field and things have recently changed for some this might be a response to that.
I'm glad I'm not in the mil any longer, secrets were a part of my job. Not now, but only when requested...
OK, Bribe me, but it better be extreme...lol

Think about what is out their, if you are really concerned or just interested. There are not that many associations big enough with some pull\push behind them. Maybe a half dozen.
Happy New Year, guys & gals.

Happy new year taits.

Read your X comment 2 times. Same result both times.
X turns to Y then Z then poof.

Actually don't want california here in TEXAS.
To many already pulling up stakes there and moving here.

There are so many tournaments we only have a few teams
playing in each. Add another X and then we will have
a tournament for each team.

May be this will be like the new GBA bat and be talked
about for 2 or 6 years.

Again, Happy New Year taits, may it be a good year.

It's not teams leaving the state (CA), but more likely teams coming to CA to play in a large formatted T.
No x,y or Z, just ambiguous name so as not to upset the apple cart here. ie deletion.
With a little research, items can be found to link it together, one just needs to do it.
As been said: 'Seek and ye shall find...'
IMO, I think Gates will come through, but really blew it with the 'promises' broken on the last 2 years or so. I have faith in him but. Was most likely seed money in reality to get things going. too bad it wasn't presented that way up front.
Have a Great New Year also. Stay healthy and safe.

Riddle: The horizontal line in which the tops of the rafters of a roof meet. One of the things your wife wants to do in Vegas besides shop, gamble and see a show. Peter Pan's Captain x two.

So what is the answer for that one and the two others...
I know them. It all ads up the answer, Do you know all three answers?
Perhaps its your mind that is fading and not your ears...lol If you know the answers post them. No one else seems to know them out of the 300+ that viewed the thing.

Come on Marv Ridge Hooks SPA how many times are we going down that road. Tried Mesquite in either 2009 or 2010 and that was cancelled, heard through the grapevine that LVSSA and SPA were hooking up we know how that ended. Reno had what 10-12 teams.

Pretty good Joe... Correct order would have been Ridge, Spa and Hooks, but well done. But Marv didn't post it. I did. Read some info and made some inquiries and contacted Marv on it but SPA has been in ca more than once working to put something together.
And with the LVSSA & SSUSA deal as it is, it puts the squeeze on not just SPA but a few others as well.
It's going to be an interesting year with the players being looked at as well as the teams with a couple or more on them.
I think this is a behind the scenes player impact database you don't know about until it is too late to keep from harming a team that doesn't know they have one or more players that changes their mathematical scale.
Who runs the best, at best cost, and bracket match up, will or should likely win out.
Should be an interesting year.

Peak or Ridge, Hofman played Hook, I was playing with ya! I heard months ago that some in Oregon might be working on bringing a "new" player into the Northwest. Always wondered why no SSUSA in Oregon. Played in Medford a few years back with red-shirt umpires, figured they've locked up most of the state. NW Championships in Portland was always a good tournament but local umpires were a problem, and that location finally expired.

I hope it all works out for the benefit of players and teams, and the non-profit nature of softball organizations prevails. I believe competition has benefits, yet in a non-profit setting it's not as crucial.

ShaneV,
It's a cut throat business literally when the motive is a business bottom line. I've been there and I think you are aware of it too in your area. But I heard not only OR but WA has been looked at as well as CA.
It's a over crowded field with limited parks\fields and with only 52 weeks to work with T's every weekend somewhere to pick from. Choices are good to have but too many take from someone somewhere.
The financials could be interesting, Will look later.

ShaneV,
Read the above and I could question quite a bit of that... but will not. Hope you discover what you are looking for, if all is there.
Have a great new year up north.
