Fellow Softballplayers...

The tournamnet that will be held in Pensacola in October is not the Winter National that will be held in Tampa. We will be hosting a regional championship. If anyone was confused I apologize.

JTS2,

That is one of the minor details, however, in oral discussions the 2007 roster will be allowed.

We have a new 65's team, obviously AA, made up of a few guys who have played AA this year and some new ones from the Pelham Senior Softball League. Just wondering what the cost will be as well as the number of participanting teams given the national tournament in Tampa later in the month.

Rusty,
The cost for the tournament will be 295.00. The number of team who will participate is unknown at the present time, however, a good number of teams wanted to play at Pensacola and encourage us to seek a divisional championship tournament.

Mattinbama,
The U-II is legal in SPA and the toournament in Pensacola is SPA sanctioned.

Rusty...My mistake last night, the cost of the Emerald Coast Divisional Championship in Pensacola is $395.00 for 60+ and above. $375 for 50+ and 55+.

As of today there were no teams signed up for the Emerald Coast Tournament in Pensacola, just wondering what teams are planning to go? Brickyard Softball from Indy is planning to be there. Very good place to play.

JTS2, how are you guys doing this year ?
Saw you last year @ Cullman, AL in NSA.

Is the whole 50's team moving up to 55 next year.?

Also have you swung the new TPS bat yet?

Thanks in Advance

Red Eye we are not doing very well. We played in one tournament in June and not swinging the UII and being bumped to major along with 10 players 54 or 55 we cannot compete. We are going to St Louis this weekend for the ISA World but don't expect much. As far as the new TPS bats the NEXUS we haven't swung it but they can't get it ASA approved and they have durability problems. They haven't given any of their partial sponsered teams nothing this year. Softball is not their main concern so it wouldn't surprise me to see them give up on the slow pitch softball bats. We are looking forward to 55 where we hope to compete a little better but until then we will take our medicine and hope we get hot. Thanks for asking.

Hi JTS2. we have missed playing you this year, it seems that the last 5 or 6 years we have some great games playing each other, we win some, you win some, always had a good time together, good luck this weekend in St. Louis, Rabbit
