Western Nationals Summary Opinion
I just returned from Aurora and wanted to share some thoughts. I thought the Aurora Complex and the practice fields were great, The infields and the outfield grass was well maintained and having 12 fields all together was really nice. You could walk around the entire complex and see old friends and teamates from the past years.

I think the umpiring was good and there was clearly quality talent to be found in all divisions, in my opinion.

I want to thank the New Mexico Desperados 55AAA for giving me the opportunity to play some ball with a good group of guys and gals. My wife and I enjoyed our time with them.

It was a pleasure seeing Don Brooks, Bob Martinez and the other directors who worked hard to put the tournament on in Aurora. Really enjoyed seeing Mike and Janice Massong from the Scrap Iron Softball Club and my old Scrap Iron teamates. I miss a lot of you guys and congratulations to all those teams who won their divisions.

Thanks to all the SSUSA officials for making these type of tournaments possible. Living in a beautiful yet remote mountain town in Colorado, makes it difficult to see the brothers who still have passion for the great game of softball. I hope I can continue to play for some time and get to meet more of you fellas out there. Keep it up and stay in touch whenever you can.

Guys, can't tell you what a pleasure it was to meet Ed Andrews and his lovely wife this weekend. This guy loves softball and is the total package when working with a Bat Rep. If you looking for product with great customer service Ed is your guy. Thanks Ed for all you do.
