Question for Tim Millette about BLD T.
What's your take on the Longhorns being entered into this. I question it since they aren't even listed as a member team, in NCSSA. (Not in ranking or rosters. Unless they use multiple names. Say MTC listed as #2 ranked)
A great team, I have watched them in the past, but illegal I'd think listed as such.

I have no problem with a new good team playing in our hall of fame event.

The more good teams the better....

it's in our back yard, not over proced, played on Saturday and Sunday only, win or lose we play five games..... I only wish aloud norcal events could be this well attended.

The only thing that would make them better is if they were one day.

If they register, why wouldn't the Longhorns be welcomed to play in your event? All teams should have the right to participate. Use an equalizer, if needed. Looks like a great group of teams. Wish we had the funds to attend.

This is imo the best one offered during the year when it comes to participants. Three others are right up there attendance wise, and those would be one at P-town, Turlock & Folsom, but there multiples of those in different months and it would depend on which you refer to. For this BLD event Brackets are close as to where they are ranked as well.
There are 14 brackets scheduled for the event. Most have 5 or 6 teams, only 2 have 4 teams entered, if i remember correctly.
As for the Longhorns being there, I would think they would have 'registered' at the beginning of the year instead of 8 months later. New year starts in a couple.
But the competition should be good there at all levels.
There is only one bracket that uses the equalizer but many that many teams that are only rewarded a 1\2 a win should they win it. Or 1\2 a win should they come in second... Some other teams in same bracket would get a full win. No I do not know rationale for this but no doubt used in some way for ranking. So it you come in 2nd you still win. Or visa versa if you win you still loose with only half credit...lol

Great event though.

Some teams are going south and west to play also. South has some very good ones, West events are mixed with ratings and ages most of the time. Different ages at AA might be playing Major as it were and are. Still are games to play in cool weather but like set up knowing your the toasted lamb isn't refreshing. lol All teams are good teams to talk to on and off the fields and play against.
