NSA Worlds part deux
I just got off the phone with one of our coaches, Don Ward. He told me the deal with us not having a majority of Ga. players wasn't what the disqualification was about. He said the NSA officials told him that Florida and California for the year 2006 are still stand alone states, they cannot pick up or receive players from adjoining states. For NSA the new rule allowing Florida and California to pick up from adjoining states won't be in their rule books till 2007.

It would be nice if someone from NSA could reply here.

I just checked online at the 2006 NSA rule book and it does allow Florida players to play with Ga teams.
I'm really confused now!

Don got the wrong story. We played and won the Western NSA Worlds back in june and i followed the NSA rules 100%. I had to trim Ca. players to make the Majority from Nevada and used my 1 exemption player that i had coming.

Your original story rang more true then this one. Sounds like there still might be some confusion amongst your guys involved.

Your sponsor responded to me on the old scout by saying what you had originally said as well.

Sorry that you guys had to go through this and look forward to playing you and your big boy team in viva las vegas late september.
