| Sept. 28, 2004 T-REX | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: LAS DANGEROUS It is not always about winning,sometimes its about the truth,congrats to those who did win.My problems are,unkept fields,no safety base,playing at night using a bat that is ilegal in every association in softball except this one.One of my friends got his thumb crushed during the triple crown game while pitching,at night,there was a collison at first base, no field maintance and the game was rescheduled 3 times,to acommadate the west coast team.The website wasn't true nor were the ads in the paper,teams showed up when they wanted,the umpiring was very good but it stopped there.We spent alot of money just coming out on Wednesday,I can assure you,we won't be back again,win or lose it is about fair play and safe play,evidently it is really about money.......... |
| Sept. 13, 2004 T-REX | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Run limits in tournaments 5 runs an inning rule is a joke...if you bat 9th in the lineup,and you go 3 up and down for 3 innings chances are your going to bat twice a game if your only hitting 10"why not have unlimited runs for the team trailing in the game,you can only tie the game,or come from behind and take a lead of 5 runs... |

| Sept. 9, 2004 T-REX | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Damon's Grill / Angle Inn wins SSWS Major World Title THANKS FROM THE DAMONS TEAM!!!There seems to be parody this year in the 50 majors,and with teams like Thermco & Kellys,it just comes down to how the ball bounces,for the 2nd year it bounced our way.We're not going to the SPA,but we will be in Vegas...MVP honors I think went to Donnie Clatterbaugh for going something crazy like 34 for 36..have a safe tri9p to your next tourney........ |
