Discussion: Elite Senior bats answer

This is Bill Gateley from Rip It. To clear up any confussion about the new Rip It Eltie Senior bat., it is for fun only. We make ASA bats and the Elite Senior is just a toy for us that need a little boost at the plate. However it is not intended to use in league or tournaments.
We have send a bat to the SSUSA office for them to test. From there we will leave it in their capable hands.
If you need a 1.20 bat I recommend the new Combat or U2.
If you need an ASA bat, that we have.
Our site is rip-it-elte.com; my # is 480-241-3717 if I can be of help......thanks

Can anyone tell me of a league that would not allow a player to use a bat that says 'fastpitch' on it. Even if it has the ASA stamp ???

Discussion: combat/anaconda bat now on sale

Just to clear up any confussion. The Combat/Anaconda bat is a great choice for league and tournament play. I can tell you it is a great bat and worth buying.
The Rip It Senior Elite is just for fun. To be used in pick up games, batting pactice or just to feel youth again. The Rip It will not have the 1.20 (it far excedes) mark but the Combat/Anaconda will.
I hope that helps. If you have any questions my number is 480-241-3717....thanks, Bill G.

Discussion: Bat break in

Breaking in your bat; the inner or outer wall on a flex bat is designed to flex with the ball...the ball gives a little and so does the bat. When you hit a dimple hard batting cage ball the bat has to take all the flex which causes the second wall to warp of crack. The thin wall is most at risk when new. There is the reason for no cage balls on new bats. The only and best way to break in is pitched BP with normal balls. I don't sell bats but I can anwser any bat questions to SSUSA members.
