Discussion: Sad state of affirs at Huntsman.

I just returned from Huntsman and our team recognized what could be sandbagging.

On the topic of end caps, I used my new GSC P-413 throughout the Games and it did a great job for me. The P-413 does not have an end cap so it can not be taken off and shaved.

The P-413 will be available fairly soon. My guess (and only a guess), is 2-3 months but I can say with confidence that if the bats are like the one I used in Worlds and Huntsman, they will be awesome.

Want/Need to know more or how to get one? Call me and I'll let you know.

Discussion: New for Vegas

Good Morning, An update on the new P-413 from GSC. Many of you in the west know me and know that I try to tell it like it is. I am not a power hitter like some of you are. I hit the ball hard and I play hard. The P-413 is clearly one of the most performance oriented bat I have ever used. The ball is coming off the barrel with authority. The ball is getting through the infield fast and some of the shots are getting to the fast before outfielders can get to the gap.

I told the guys at GSC, that I would not speak of the performance of this bat until I actually got one and used it. They got a 27 to me in Vegas and I tried it. It is the real McCoy and I can tell you I love it. Swings like a mid or mild end load. Feels good.

I've let quite a few players use my bat. Please chime in here and let me know and others know how it felt to you. If I can answer any questions, do not hesitate to call or email me.

Discussion: New Reebok Barrage 2 Piece

I am currently in St. George, Utah at the World Senior Games. I have with me a 26 and a 27 Reebok Barrage 2 piece and have been testing both bats as well as allowing players in Vegas and in St. George to use them.

Most of the feedback I have received, is positive. The bats have a stiffer handle and the flex is in the barrel. The balls come off the barrel quick and with a solid feel. The 26 feels more like a balanced swing and the 27 is more an end load swing. Good distance with these bats.

I invite those who used the Barrage in Vegas and in St. George to chime in here as I wish to share only the facts with regard to the experience. I am told the Barrage needs 100 swings to break in.

If interested further, get hold of me and I'll be glad to share more with you. I will have the new Barrage bats in stock within the next week or two.

Stoney: If you will email me, I can send you the address when I return home. I am playing in Huntsman Senior Games and drive home on Friday/Saturday. There was a batch that had a clear coat problem. Reebok did replace a number of bats but those that were replaced, were bats with few hits on them. Not certain what your criteria facts are but I will get you info on where to proceed.

Am playing in St. George, Utah at Huntsman World Senior Games with Enviro-Vac 60AAA 2012 World Champs. Have been swinging the P-413. This bat is as solid as any I have ever used. I am not a home run hitter but as players will attest to, this bat is very performance oriented and the hits feel good, sound good and the ball jumps off the barrel.

Please call me to get a more "in depth" description of what I am experiencing here this week. If I can be of assistance, call on me.

Curty: As a follow up to the new Reebok Barrage bat, I am told it takes about 100 swings to break in because they intentionally built the bat so that the flex would be in the barrel and NOT in the 2 piece connection. I am told they were hitting balls 400 feet on a baseball field with the new Barrage. When we hit BP in Vegas, my new Barrage bats only had maybe 40-50 hits on the 27.

Also, the 27 has an end load weight and the 26 bats do not have the end load weights.

I can take orders because I will have new Barrage bats on October 15th.

As I think about my hit in our game, I think I got a triple on you guys.

Take Care,

Discussion: GSC~~~Where Are You?

I received a P-413 last Friday at Vegas. I tried it against Hannington, Mass. in our early game but did not have the swing figured out. Used it at BLD with the AZ Rangers 60AAA and it was truly live and in living color. I used a 27 and it had serious speed off the barrel. I will use it along with a Rbk Barrage at Huntsman Games. If you have questions and need straight answers, call/contact me. Really appreciate SSUSA for everyones hard work and for their cooperative spirit in Vegas.
Thanks,

I just returned to Colorado from Vegas. I used and let players use the GSC P-413 and the Reebok Barrage. I was impressed with both bats performance and the P-413 was a solid and positive experience. Anyone needing more information regarding my experience with these bats, do not hesitate to call or contact me. I'll share info without hype! Will also bring them to Huntsman so others can see them as well.
