Discussion: New Reebok Barrage 2 Piece

As of right now, we are not sure as there is a big storm coming here tomorrow. May get 8-16 inches of snow. We want to let it go through before heading out. Could be the route you just described. How you doing? I played our BC boys at Winter Worlds. Was good to see Jimmy and the buys. Ed

Brought the new Barrage's with me to Phoenix but did not sell a bat as SSUSA asked that I not do so as it was a Miken sponsored tournament and I respectfully followed their request. That said, I have new Reebok Melee's and Barrage's in stock and would like to get yours to you. Contact me and I'll get you taken care of. Enjoy the upcoming holidays.

Discussion: REEBOK BARRAGE vs MIKEN ULTRA 2PIECE MAXLOAD

Guys, As others have shared, the Barrage is a hot bat. I let players use one in Vegas and in St. George. I have all weights in stock. It is true that a very few have broken but that is out of hundreds of bat sales made. Those of you in need, contact me or Alan and we can give you the pertinent information to send in a broken bat.

If I can help you for your Christmas needs, please give me the opportunity to help.

Discussion: WINTER WORLDS 60's MAJORS

I enjoyed playing ball at Papago for One Time in 60 Major and was glad to meet some of you guys on the various teams. Hope the Santa Cruz boys make it back to Pleasure Point safely and the Idaho Boys be safe as well. Hope your buddy and his family heal from their recent loss.

We had a really fun game Saturday night with Chain Link. Almost had you Dave. LOL

You guys who ordered bats, I did not deliver them as SSUSA requested that I not do so as this was a Miken sponsored tournament. So, get hold of me and I will ship your bats to you. Hope you understand. I wanted to honor their request.

Discussion: Corky

I hope that Corky appears with a new gig and I'm sure that he will. He and I always enjoyed each others company at tournaments and he was an asset to SSUSA and to Miken. He bought bats from me and I bought bats from him. We are friends and I know he'll do well whatever he does.

I wear the Tanel Rev-D and went up to an 11 from 10.5 because I sometimes jammed my toes into the front. Love my Tanels.

Discussion: Senior softball camp Altamonte Springs Fla.

Classic Spring Training in Jacksonville is a great camp to knock the rust off and get ready for the spring season ahead. Curt Hollis and his family have worked hard and put their heart and souls into their camp. I think you would enjoy your experience there. I did.

Discussion: 1 piece~2 piece

I am not an engineer so I cannot speak to this from that standpoint. I can share that the new Barrage 2 piece, which I have and have been hitting with, has as much performance pop as the Melee and I am told is more durable. The 26 swings like a balanced bat and the 27 and up is like an end load. I will have some with me in Phoenix.

Discussion: Bat restrictions for Seniors.

I bought a new Miken ASA/USSSA bat this year from Tri18 so I could use in league play. It is the end load 26 ounce model. It turned out to be a little too light for me and so I will sell it. Has only 75 swings on it and in excellent condition.

Discussion: Bought my dad a bat... really hoping it's the right kind...

Youngbuck: As others have shared, there are senior players who would like that bat and will buy it from you but also, in the event your dad decides to play some tournament ball, it might be a bat he would like to keep. As HJ states, there are different bat models that swing completely different from one another. I ship bats to players around the globe who most have specific wish lists and weight desires. Base hitters often want a balanced bat so they can hit the gaps and if desired, hit to opposite fields. Many home run hitters opt for the end loaded models and like to pull the ball down the lines. Most bats have a different feel to them when they are used.

Hope this has been of some help.

Discussion: Sad state of affirs at Huntsman.

I just returned from Huntsman and our team recognized what could be sandbagging.

On the topic of end caps, I used my new GSC P-413 throughout the Games and it did a great job for me. The P-413 does not have an end cap so it can not be taken off and shaved.

The P-413 will be available fairly soon. My guess (and only a guess), is 2-3 months but I can say with confidence that if the bats are like the one I used in Worlds and Huntsman, they will be awesome.

Want/Need to know more or how to get one? Call me and I'll let you know.
